STATEMANT

As an audiovisual artist my favorite form of expression is cinema.

I’ve always been an introvert, with difficulties in expressing my feelings, especially by words. I rather express it through my emotions through actions. I think there’s where the main characteristic of my projects come, because the cinema I like making is one that “shows, doesn’t tell”. I like telling a story through image and sounds, not so much through dialogues.

One of my favorite themes to explore in cinema is the memories associated with the past. This is something I identify with because I am very attached to the past and it's hard for me to let things go, so I try to transmit that.

My favorite area to work in cinema is Image, specially Cinematography.

In truth, cinema was the most honest form that I found to expose what I feel and what I see and need to tell. My goal is to work more in projects more faithful to me and to what I believe.
